The Nigerian gospel music scene is set to be uplifted with the latest collaboration between Gbenga Akinfenwa, also known as Phatstrings, and the legendary Evangelist Bola Are. Their new song, “Aseyi O Wu,” which translates to “He does as He wills” in Yoruba, is a powerful testament to the sovereignty and might of God.
Gbenga Akinfenwa, a renowned gospel music minister, producer, and CEO of Awesome Studios, has teamed up with Evangelist Bola Are, a revered figure in Nigerian gospel music and former President of the Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria, to create this inspiring track released with a beautiful video.
“Aseyi O Wu” draws from Psalm 115:3, which states, “But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.” This song is a reminder of the awe and reverence we owe to the Almighty, a theme that resonates deeply with both artists.
