Globally acclaimed vocalist TAYA has officially released her much-anticipated sophomore solo album, The Reminder. This 12-track collection showcases TAYA’s distinctive voice and profound songwriting, offering listeners a deeply personal and spiritually enriching experience.
Reflecting on the album’s inspiration, TAYA shares, “Something I cannot shake is the revelation of the faithfulness of God as a constant banner over my life. Not a banner of talents, or a church’s name or any accolade given – the banner over my life is who God is and what He has done. It is Jesus Christ, Him our crucified and risen King. What a joy it is to shout it from the rooftops, in this caption, via your inbox, through song and this next record; to remind us all of what He has done.”
The album features previously released singles that have resonated with audiences worldwide. “Gonna Be Good,” released in February 2024, is a joy-filled reminder for listeners to trust in God’s provision and care. TAYA explains, “Going off a word I felt from the Lord, as I started writing for this next project it seemed I had a lot of concerns under the surface. So classic God, He used scripture and a melody to get my attention and in turn my confession realigned. My eyes were lifted, and my heart opened – ready to soar into the next thing God had for us. I may not know what comes next (a baby!!, stepping out yet again, touring as a family?!!) but I know that, with God, it’s Gonna Be Good!”
Another standout track, “One and Only,” debuted in March 2025, further exemplifies TAYA’s commitment to creating music that serves as a testament to her faith and personal journey.
TAYA first captured global attention with UNITED’s RIAA Certified Multi-Platinum worship anthem “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail),” which spent a record-setting 61 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Top Christian Songs Chart. Since then, her voice has become an unmistakable call to worship across the world.
