Is God there?
I’m drowning in my own flesh
Help me!!!
Please God can you hear me??
Please save me
I know what’s right
but I do what’s wrong
I try so hard to do right
But It doesn’t come out right

Surrender let Him take over
Stop trying to please Him by your efforts

To be given a new life
A life of the Spirit
This is life eternal
I was condemned
And in sin I drowned
I was judged by all

But He didn’t just come for me
He found me and rescued me
He can and He WILL rescue you
No one condemns me
I’ve been freed
He doesn’t see me the way you see me
I am His very own
He crossed the sea
He climbed the mountain
He went to the cross
Just to save me
I have a past
But my past doesn’t have me
My past is not what God says I am
He didn’t just taste sin
He became sin
He didn’t let the cup pass by
Instead He said
“Lord let thy will be done”

His resurrection
Has given me life
Even when I’m scared
Cuz of what I see around me
He says just look into my eyes
I cannot let you fall
I will hold your hand and lead you
The same way I brought you home
When I left the ninety-nine
I have ears to hear
And eyes to see
From now on and forever more
He’s taking care of me
Even in the plight
Through life’s greatest fight
He’ll be with me
Day and night
I am a child of love
