A well-attended press conference for the Eagle Awards Africa took place at the Blue Pictures Cinema in Onikan, Lagos, on Thursday, May 11, 2023. This was a momentous occasion that marked the beginning of the path to leaving a legacy.
The press session was a blast for the organizers and jurors as they explained the ceremony’s goals and objectives, answered questions and provided vision-based answers.
DJ Gosporella, also known as Prince Afojeare Ikhialose Igbauma, is known for breaking new ground in the music business, particularly in the area of gospel music.
The renowned disc jockey believes that the Eagle Awards Africa would leave a long-lasting legacy of admiration of excellence in the arts and entertainment for the whole black race, regardless of geographic location.
Ms. Yinka Davies, Mr. Ben Ogbeiwi, and Mr. Teddy Don Momoh, along with other jury members, combed through nominees to determine those to be finally honored in the first edition of the Annual Eagle Awards Africa, dubbed the Honours Edition, which will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at The Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island starting at 4pm.
