Nigerian gospel artiste and clergymen have mourned the death of Access bank CEO Herbert Wigwe, after he died in a helicopter crash.
According to reports, the multimillionaire Herbert Wigwe, died alongside his wife and son in the crash in California.
The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in a statement, confirmed that all who boarded died and no one survived.
Responding to the tragic news were different clergymen and gospel artiste. Few of those include: Mercy Chinwo, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, Nathaniel Bassey, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, and many others.
Nathaniel Bassey, in a heartfelt message said;
“I remember Mr Hebert Wigwe from my time at the City of David. Started Access Bank before our eyes. The loss (Of Al on board, including wife, Son and other associates) is quite tragic, painful and tough to take. But in all, God is still God. My sincere condolences and prayers for His family and all hit by this news one way or the other.”
Pastor Bolaji Idowu, also responding to the tragic incident said;
“This one is a tough one. You will definitely be missed.
“I still recall our conversation from the Harvesters Entrepreneurship Forum in 2020, and your word has been a driving force for many young ones. We will always miss the brilliant thought leader that you were.
During this difficult time, my prayers and thoughts are with your family. Yes, you have left an indelible mark. RIP, @herbertowigwe”
“I still can’t believe the news of your sudden demise. Your Legacy lives on. I pray the Lord comfort the Wigwe’s family and everyone going through a hard time this season.” Mercy Chinwo said in a post made on her Instagram page.
