The National Christian Center in Abuja is set to host the highly anticipated National Gospel Talent Hunt starting on the 1st of June 2024. This prestigious event, endorsed by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), is a celebration of faith and talent, providing a platform for aspiring gospel artists to showcase their gifts.
The National Gospel Talent Hunt is not just a competition; it’s a mission to discover, nurture, and promote the next generation of gospel musicians, dancers, and dramatists. With a grand prize of N5 million and other significant awards, the talent hunt is poised to be a life-changing experience for the participants. Judges for the competition include Yadah, Emma Onyx and Bjazz.
The event will commence with an eviction competition, running from the 1st to the 27th of June 2024, where contestants will demonstrate their talents in front of a panel of esteemed judges and a live audience. The competition will culminate in a Grand Finale on Sunday, 30th June 2024, at the National Christian Center, where finalists will vie for the title and the opportunity to become Nigeria’s new gospel sensation.
Registration for the talent hunt began on the 1st of March and will continue until the 30th of April 2024. Auditions are conducted across major cities in Nigeria, ensuring a diverse and talented pool of contestants. The zonal auditions, which start on the 1st of May 2024, will further refine the selection, leading to the main event in June.
