Renowned Nigerian gospel minister, trumpeter, and worship leader Nathaniel Bassey has officially released his highly anticipated new album, The Glory of His Presence, on January 2, 2026. The 12-track project, spanning nearly two hours, is now available worldwide on all major digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
Described by Bassey as “loaded, anointed, and powerful,” The Glory of His Presence is a deeply spiritual worship companion crafted to guide believers into intimate encounters with God throughout 2026 and beyond. More than a collection of songs, the album captures a live-recorded worship journey where music surrenders to divine moments, emphasizing prayer, reflection, and stillness over casual listening. It builds on pre-released singles like the celebratory “Ó Dára” and the heartfelt thanksgiving anthem “Jehovah,” setting a tone of reverence and breakthrough.
The album features inspiring collaborations with gifted worshippers, including Sunmisola Agbebi, Nessa Asuakoh, Aidee Ime, and Chimdi Ochei. Key tracks showcase Bassey’s signature blend of scriptural depth, trumpet interludes, and spontaneous worship:
- “King Eternal,” co-written with Apostle Joshua Selman, opens with doctrinal declarations of God’s eternal dominion.
- “Oluwa” (featuring Sunmisola Agbebi) celebrates the sweetness of Jesus.
- The epic “Glory to the Lamb,” exceeding 20 minutes, meditates profoundly on Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, accompanied by a powerful video release.
- “Warrior Song” delivers bold victory proclamations drawn from Psalm 92.
- “Come Away” and “What a Joy” invite personal intimacy.
- The closing “Our Father” unites voices in surrender through the Lord’s Prayer.
“This should be one of your materials for 2026,” Bassey shared in promotional posts. “It’s a prayer companion and worship tool designed for deeper encounters with God.” The project reflects his priestly calling, prioritizing tangible spiritual impact and communal worship experiences.
Nathaniel Bassey, globally recognized for initiatives like the Hallelujah Challenge, continues to impact millions through music that fosters genuine divine connection.
