This powerful anthem of joy and resilience is the lead single from her forthcoming live album, Jesus Over Everything – Live in Las Vegas, slated for release in June.
Recorded during a dynamic live worship experience in Las Vegas earlier this year, “Be Glad (Live)” captures the raw energy and communal spirit of Raine’s performance. The song draws inspiration from Psalm 118:24, serving as a heartfelt reminder to find joy and gratitude amidst life’s challenges. Raine shares, “It’s me just saying, I’m going to sing and be glad, even though stuff is going on… all that I need, He’s provided for me. So I lift my voice and be glad.”
“Be Glad (Live)” marks a significant milestone in Raine’s artistic journey, reflecting her personal growth and renewed sense of purpose. Following the success of her debut solo album, Journey (2022), which resonated with audiences for its emotional depth and spiritual authenticity, Raine continues to explore themes of faith and perseverance in her music.
In addition to her musical endeavors, Raine has ventured into the business side of the industry by launching her own record label, Refraine Records, in partnership with longtime collaborator and manager G. Morris Coleman. This new venture allows her to balance her creative and executive roles effectively, further solidifying her influence in the gospel music scene.
