Gospel & Christian Record Labels Looking for Artist 2021/2022

With many artiste evolving now in the Gospel and Christian Music Ministry in Nigeria, there is always going to be the need for the area of management and monitoring of artiste which is where the Nigerian Gospel Record Label comes in.

Over the years, the Christian Music Industry has suffered from mediocrity and lack of management of its artiste as majority of the secular singers in Nigeria grew up from the church.

It is however good to see the industry grow into what it is now and we know it is still not yet there. The likes of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Pastor Enoch Adeboye among others have been looking at ways to get its artiste to stay in Church and be useful for God as the creation of the church’s record labels has really opened the eyes of youths to the opportunities that are in the church.

For the past three years, the Gospel Music Industry is growing rapidly with new talents getting discovered on a daily basis, therefore we have come up with the list of Gospel Record Labels in Nigeria for the year 2020 and 2021.

This article highlights each gospel and Christian record label in Nigeria currently looking for artists in 2021 and 2022, in no particular order with their foreman, signed artists, social media handles, and probably their contact details, scroll down and read happily.

1. Eezee Concepts:

EeZee Conceptz Limited is a registered organisation with the corporate affairs commission of the federal republic of Nigeria. They are with a vision to reach out to our generation and to win souls for Christ through music.

EeZee Conceptz is a Gospel Record Label are charged to creating a positive platform for talented gospel music artistes, blessing the souls of men with inspired gospel lyrics and ministrations, thereby impacting our generation positively and discouraging all sorts of social vices and violence.

Their target is the youth of the society, for the glory of the youth is in their strength which is potent in them at this present age, We seek to channel this potential rightly through positive impartation of God’s Word and power.

Eezee Tee’s label Eezee Concepts has Chinedum crooner Mercy Chinwo, All That Matters Crooner GUC, Toby and Popular Singer Chris Morgan.

2. Republic of Xtreme [ROX] Nation:

ROX is an acronym for Republic of Xtreme, and the label already has on its roster four talented artists: Okey Sokay, IBK, Blessyn, and SMJ who is also a producer.

Apart from these two, the label also houses two of the strongest female vocalists in Nigerian Gospel Music in IBK and ROX Nation First Lady, Blessyn. Oyel boss Okey Sokay also adds to the house of talents as his song Alpha released at the end of the year continue to bless lives.

Tim Godfrey is also currently running a music reality show tagged Sound Check, a platform he says will help to train young people with raw musical talents and give them a platform to showcase their gifts to the world; “We are hoping to give younger people opportunity to find expression with their gifts”.

3. Loveworld Records:

Loveworld Records is an independent record label established by Chris Oyakhilome with the sole aim of discovering and developing gospel artists. Founded in 2009, the record label has gone on to groom and produce notable gospel musicians including Sinach, Frank Edwards, Joe Praize; among others.

Other notable singers who did well in 2018 includes rapper TB1, Mr Noble, SamJamz, Rozey, Ada Ehi, Joe Praize, Chee, CSO among others all are from the Chris Oyakhilome’s record label.

4. Rock Town Records:

Anytime you hear rich boy, all that comes to our mind is Frank Edwards but actually Rock Town is far bigger than that with singer Nkay and Gil Joe part of the label.

Apart from having over 6 personally produced songs released in 2018 by Frank Edwards, the Christian baller Gil Joe also dropped a song Shackles which he did alongside Nkay also. The label might not have done much in 2018,but 2019 is another year.

5. Hammer House Records:

HHR is the definition of a couples life. Singer Eben and wife Jahdiel comes together in one label. The duo really made the year a big one with both dropping back to back hits songs and also collaborating for the second time in Oghene Doh.

Also on the Record Label is Seyi Israel who has been on the Gospel Music Industry scene since 2019.

6. One Hallelujah:

In 2017 renowned saxophonist, Kunle Ajayi, Nathaniel Bassey, Tosin Bee, Femi Okanuga, Moses Onofega, Michael Akingbala, Obabike Adeyemi known as OBA, South Africa-based James Okon, Rebecca Ogolo and Funke Akiokun were signed to The Redeemed Christian Church of God record label, One Hallelujah with much expected from the artiste.

Many would have expected arguably the Pentecostal church with the biggest congregation to have a lot of popular, well known singing figure however, contrary is the case as the biggest acts from One Hallelujah in 2018 was You Are Great crooner, Tosin Bee and Nathaniel Bassey who left things late with Jesus The Resurrection and Life album. Others cannot be rated as upcoming but sometime still do like one.

The likes of Micheal Akingbala and Tee Worship seems to be building their recognition back.

7. Spaghetti Records:

Owned by Popular Fuji Musician, Mike Abdul, Spaghetti Records is one of the Gospel Record Labels in Nigeria that is really breaking grounds in the music industry.

With Artistes like Monique, the Midnight Crew member and Morire crooner Mike Abdul. Also label mate Adams also had a great year dropping Final Answer to celebrate the record label’s sixth year and dropping a music video too.

The label also has award-winning producer Tyanx.

8. Azusa World Records:

One Gospel Record Label that emerged in 2018 was Bro D’s Azusa World Record. The label kick-start it’s projects by signing 3 major artistes which includes the voice in Tim Godfrey’s Na You Be God Chioma Odimba popularly called Ccioma and the Afro gospel artiste Olatunji Opeyemi Yemi TPX.

Much couldn’t be done by the label last year due to its late introduction but Ccioma was able to get things rolling for the label with her reggae single Wonderful Love and her Calvary The Concert gathering.

9. AMA Records:

A.M.A Records is a kingdom driven music and art organization birthed in the year July 2019 and began running in February 2021.

A.M.A Records fully known as Atori Music and Art Records was established and registered by Atori Eguono Blessing who is a music minister with sincere love and passion for god.

Their aim is to raise young people that would be rooted and devoted to the expansion of the kingdom of god through their god-given abilities, gifts and talents while still reaping its earthly benefits charged with the motto “Kingdom Advancement, Revealing Jesus”.

Currently signed at A.M.A Records is Nigerian Gospel Artiste Eldia.

10. Tehila Records:

Owned by Tim Tehila, Tehila Records is a Gospel Music Record Label. Artistes signed on to the record label are Enkay, Chiika100% and Tehila Crew. Tehila Records is the host of the following biggest gospel music concerts in Nigeria: ENKAY LIVE IN CONCERT, THE SPOTLIGHT, PRAISE FLAME and ALABANZA.

Over the years, all these events have played a host to a vast collection of seasoned and anointed gospel artistes both in Nigeria, and across the world.

The biggest artiste from the artiste is obviously Enkay Oghuruche with her album and music concert The Bridge one of the most beautiful concerts in 2018. Chika 100% (percent) the vibrant, dynamic and anointed minister was also signed into the record label.

11. One Skript:

Owned by afrogospel music artist who is also a rapper, songwriter, producer and a hip hop artist Limoblaze currently based in the United Kingdom. One Skript Record Label was unveiled around January 2022 with it’s first signed artiste.

“It’s with great joy that I announce this project that @favour_emma and I have nurtured for a while now. Oneskript is designed to be a key player in the urban music space with many faces to it.

In Oneskript, a single script of life, the Bible, unites people from different backgrounds. Today, we announce the part of being a music label and will reveal our first artiste in the next post.

It’s been my dream as an artiste who struggled so much to start and build a career to build systems that make it easier for young promising talents to flourish and give them more of what I desired when I began; a support system.” – Limoblaze shared on Social Media.

Currently signed at One Skript record is Nigerian Afrogospel artiste Prince Etuk, professionally known as Princeton South “Princeton South”.

12. Pure Fire Entertainment:

Pure Fire Entertainment otherwise known as Pure Fire Records is a Gopel Record Label owned and managed by renowned gospel artiste, songwriter and music minister – Jimmy D Psalmist.

Currently, there are just two Gospel Artiste signed to Pure Fire Records and this includes Jimmy D Psalmist himself and Felix Jimmy.
