Award‑winning Gospel icon Kirk Franklin releases his electrifying new single, “Do It Again,” through Fo Yo Soul Recordings and Tribl Records. This soul-stirring track drops today, setting the stage for what many are calling a powerful musical moment. With his trademark blend of gospel, R&B, and bold lyrical storytelling, Franklin channels a message of unwavering faith: if God brought you through before, He’ll “do it again.”
“I wrote this song for anybody who’s ever felt like giving up,” shares Franklin. “It’s my reminder—and I hope yours—that God hasn’t changed. There’s still purpose in your pain, and joy is on the way.”
The single arrives just three days before Franklin takes the stage at the 2025 BET Awards, where he will be honored with the prestigious BET Ultimate Icon Award on June 9. He will also deliver a live performance of “Do It Again” during the ceremony, underscoring the track’s powerful impact.
“Do It Again” marks the debut of a broader creative vision, coinciding with Franklin’s new partnership. His companies—Fo Yo Soul and CLTRE Lab—are now aligned with Insignia Assets, under which he has been named Chief of Creative Services.
