Lake and Daigle’s appearance continues the growing bridge between contemporary Christian and country music. Lake, a worship leader and songwriter known for global anthems including “Graves Into Gardens,” “Praise You Anywhere,” and the multi-Platinum “Gratitude,” has earned five GRAMMY® Awards and multiple Billboard, Dove, K-LOVE Fan, and GMA Canada Covenant Awards. His 2025 album House of Miracles (Live) and recent single “That’s Who I Praise” have dominated Christian radio and streaming charts.
Lauren Daigle, whose 2018 breakthrough album Look Up Child debuted at No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard 200 and produced the 5× Platinum crossover hit “You Say,” has won two GRAMMY® Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards, and four American Music Awards. Her self-titled 2023 album yielded the country-leaning Top 20 AC radio single “Thank God I Do” and further expanded her audience across genres.
Their inclusion among country’s biggest names underscores the shared storytelling, faith-rooted themes, and musical kinship that increasingly connect the Christian and country communities.
The 59th Annual CMA Awards celebrate the year’s greatest achievements in country music and remain the genre’s most-watched awards broadcast.
