‘Baba’, which means ‘Father’ in Hausa, is a song that expresses Kwabena Boateng’s awe and appreciation for God’s faithfulness and goodness in his life. He sings with passion and conviction, inviting listeners to join him in praising God with the words of Psalm 106:1: “Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!”

‘Baba’ is Kwabena Boateng’s first release since his 2022 EP, “Saved By Grace”, which featured songs such as ‘Conquer’ and ‘Mabankese’. The singer has been working on new music for the past year, and says that ‘Baba’ was inspired by his daughter’s birth, which was a turning point in his life.
“I’ve been sitting on this song for over a year now. I even wanted to give it out, but my wife and loved ones kept me going,” he said. “My daughter’s birth was a big turning point in my life. It awoke something in me that compelled me to release ‘Baba’. All I pray for now is that this beautiful song touches the hearts of listeners and inspires them to worship God, for he has been faithful.”
