Gather Worship, the collective behind the upcoming global event Gather25, is thrilled to announce the release of their latest single, “The Image.” This inspiring track features renowned worship leader Matt Redman and Nigerian artist Kaestrings, offering a profound reflection on the life of Jesus.
“The Image” is the second preview from Gather Worship’s forthcoming album, Hear The World That You So Love Sing Back To You, set to release on February 21, 2025. The song was born from a desire to focus solely on Jesus, capturing the essence of His journey from birth to resurrection. Matt Redman emphasizes the importance of this narrative, stating, “One thing I love about this song is it touches on the years between the cradle and the cross. It’s so important to sing about those years because even before the cross, as He lived among us, Jesus put the heart of God fully on display.”
In alignment with Gather Worship’s mission to represent the global Church, “The Image” is released in multiple languages. The English version features Matt Redman and Kaestrings, the Spanish rendition (“La Imagen”) includes Josh Morales and Guatemalan group Miel San Marcos, and the Mandarin version (“愛的彰顯”) is led by Taiwan’s Stream of Praise. Additional group vocals were contributed by New Zealand’s Grace Vineyard Church.
The official music video for “The Image” showcases each artist performing in their native landscapes, from Nigeria to New Zealand and the United States, highlighting the song’s universal message. The video is available on YouTube.
Gather25 is an unprecedented 25-hour global broadcast event scheduled for February 28th and March 1st, 2025.
