GRAMMY-nominated and double Dove Award-winning artist Forrest Frank has unveiled his eighth studio album, Child of God II, released on May 9 via River House Records and 10K Projects . The album is available across all major platforms, including CD, vinyl, and digital formats.
A sequel to his groundbreaking 2024 release Child of God, which dominated the Billboard Christian Albums Chart for 17 weeks and garnered over 1 billion global streams , Child of God II continues Frank’s mission to blend contemporary Christian themes with diverse musical styles. The album features collaborations with country star Thomas Rhett, gospel artist Limoblaze, and R&B singer Nathan Davis Jr.
The project includes standout singles such as “Your Way’s Better,” which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart , and “Nothing Else,” featuring Thomas Rhett, which debuted at No. 4 on the same chart. Another notable track, “No L’s,” incorporates live vocals from over 10,000 fans recorded during Frank’s Child of God Tour, reaching No. 12 on the Hot Christian Songs chart.
Critics have praised Child of God II for its innovative fusion of genres. CCM Magazine awarded it a perfect 5-star rating, highlighting its “softer production, more gospel-pop, and emotional depth,” while Today’s Christian Entertainment rated it 4.7 out of 5, calling it “joyful, intentional, and impossible not to move to”.
Frank is currently promoting the album on his Child of God Tour Part 2, which spans 26 cities across the U.S. and Canada, featuring support from Elevation Rhythm.
