Emmanuel Babalola teams up with the hyper-energetic gospel band on his latest release tagged “At The Mention,” accompanied by a colourful video.
In an exclusive statement, Minister Emmanuel shares the inspiration behind the song, He says “The name of Jesus Christ is a powerful name that is above every other name. The name has the potency of giving we Christians whatever we need on earth.”
“God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, that at the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, those on earth and those under the earth and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow;” quoting Philippians 2:9-11
He goes on to make reference to Mark 16:15, 17-18, NKJV, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
This song serves as a follow-up to Emmanuel’s previous single tagged “Mighty God.”
