Gospel music luminary CeCe Winans has once again solidified her legendary status, securing two prestigious awards at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards held on February 2, 2025. Winans was honored with the Best Gospel Album award for her soul-stirring project, More Than This, and the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song award for her inspiring single, “That’s My King.”

Released on April 26, 2024, More Than This quickly ascended to the top of the Billboard Top Gospel Albums and Top Christian Albums charts, resonating deeply with audiences through its powerful messages of faith and devotion. The album’s lead single, “That’s My King,” garnered widespread acclaim, reaching number one on the Hot Gospel Songs chart and becoming the top-streamed gospel track of the year.

In her acceptance speech, Winans expressed heartfelt gratitude: “I am deeply humbled and honored to receive these awards. More Than This and ‘That’s My King’ are reflections of my journey and faith, and I am grateful to everyone who has been part of this project. All glory goes to God.”

This latest achievement adds to Winans’ illustrious career, bringing her total Grammy wins to 17, further cementing her position as the most awarded female gospel artist in history. Her unparalleled contributions to gospel and contemporary Christian music continue to inspire and uplift audiences worldwide.

In addition to her Grammy success, Winans was named Artist of the Year at the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards in October 2024, marking the second time in three years she has received this honor. She also won Gospel Worship Album of the Year for More Than This and Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year for her rendition of “My Tribute (To God Be The Glory),” a collaboration with Natalie Grant.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate the release of Winans’ upcoming Christmas album, Joyful, Joyful: A Christmas Album, and her “More Than This” tour in 2025. Tickets are currently on sale, offering audiences the opportunity to experience her powerful and uplifting performances live.
