Ayomikun, daughter of renowned gospel singer Tope Alabi, married her partner Oluwole in a private ceremony on March 12, 2025. The event was intimate, attended by close family and friends, including notable figures such as actress Funke Akindele and gospel ministers Bidemi Olaoba and Woli Agba.
Despite efforts to maintain privacy, videos from the ceremony surfaced online. One clip shows Tope Alabi praying for her daughter, who is kneeling before her, surrounded by bridesmaids. Another video captures the gospel singer offering prayers and words of encouragement to the bridesmaids, expressing hopes that their relationships will also lead to marriage.
In a particularly touching moment, Bishop David Oyedepo blessed the newlyweds. A video shows Ayomikun and Oluwole kneeling as Bishop Oyedepo lays hands on them, offering prayers for their union. Tope Alabi is also present in the video, standing beside the couple during the blessing.
The emergence of these videos has elicited mixed reactions online. While many have congratulated the couple, others have criticized the breach of their privacy, noting that the wedding was intentionally kept low-key. Some speculated that the secrecy was due to controversies surrounding Ayomikun’s biological father.
Ayomikun, following in her mother’s footsteps, is also a gospel singer and a graduate of Bowen University, Iwo, where she earned a second-class upper degree in music.
The couple’s union has been met with an outpouring of love and support from fans and well-wishers, who have taken to social media to share their congratulations and prayers for a blessed marriage.
