Days after teasing his followers on social media about rehearsing a new song with his colleagues at the Abuja Studio, Amb. Emmanuel Gabari has released a new album titled “My Body My Soul”. The song is officially released today.
My Body My Soul looks at how people connect with their inner minds, and their mental health, and how they can stop body shaming, self-hate, and discrimination of all sorts.
Inspired by the outcome of his reflections on how people get bullied and body shamed, and how most people’s rights are trampled upon because of who they are and who they chose to love, the new song seeks to encourage everyone to be positive-minded.
According to the songwriter/singer, “It hurts when I get to some places and see how people are maltreated, discriminated and ostracized. We are all human beings and everyone deserves love, dignity and respect.”
