Review:
Damilola Mike-Bamiloye is a son of the veteran actor Mike Bamiloye who is known for producing inspiring Christian movies through The Mount Zion Films Production.
Damilola Mike-Bamiloye has proven to excel much more in the cinematography world because not only is he able to maintain the legacy of his father but has also gain more weight by striking the balance between inspiration, entertainment and impact by also addressing social issues that affects the society at large as can be seen in their recently released seasonal movie, ABATTOIR.
How far could a man go in his desperation to get what he wants? Chief Duro Santa( Martins’ father) obviously has an answer to that as he is seen to employ every means within his power to get that which he desires. Whether his desperation causes harm to others is what he doesn’t seem to care about.
One major style employed as the movie progresses is SUSPENSE. You just cannot predict the turn out of events unless you sit to watch it to the end. And that is a good style employed to sustain the tempo of the movie.
Have you ever sat to watch a movie and you get so engrossed in it so much that you feel yourself travel out of this world and into the movie as though you are participating in it? If you have never felt that, you should expect to experience that when watching ABATTOIR, it is that captivating!
Finally, this is not just a movie that entertains, more than entertainment it gives answers to social controversies. I have seen Season 1 and I can’t wait for the release of Season 2. If you have not seen it yet you are missing out, this is not a movie you can afford to miss!
