Award-winning Ghanaian-Canadian gospel artist Ryan Ofei and his wife, Priscilla Ofei, are thrilled to announce the arrival of their first child, marking a beautiful new chapter in their family journey.
The couple shared the heartwarming news on Instagram with a touching carousel of family photos, captioned: “From best friends to mom & dad. In year three we became three.” The post, credited to photographer @iamaferrell, captures intimate moments of the new parents cradling their newborn, radiating joy and gratitude.

Ryan Ofei, known for his powerful voice and faith-inspired music, has touched millions through his work with Maverick City Music and his solo projects. A Grammy contributor and Juno Award winner for his debut album Restore, Ofei blends gospel with pan-African influences, drawing from his Ghanaian heritage and Canadian roots. His journey from a near-death experience in university to dedicating his life to worship has inspired fans worldwide.
Priscilla Ofei, a talented worship singer in her own right, who has shared covers of songs like “How Great” and “Been So Good”, has been Ryan’s partner since their friendship blossomed into marriage. The couple tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Ghana in 2022, after Ryan’s romantic proposal in Ada the previous year.
This holiday season, as families gather in celebration, the Ofeis express profound thankfulness for the gift of parenthood. “We are overjoyed and filled with praise for this precious miracle,” the couple shared implicitly through their announcement, echoing themes of faith and family central to Ryan’s music.
