Renowned gospel minister, worship leader, and pastor Nathaniel Bassey has officially launched the Hallelujah Challenge Center, transforming the beloved online praise movement into a physical sanctuary for spiritual renewal. After eight months of dedicated construction and divine guidance, the center was unveiled during the ongoing October 2025 Hallelujah Challenge, drawing global attention and celebration from millions of participants worldwide.
The Hallelujah Challenge, which began as a midnight online praise session in June 2017 from Bassey’s living room, has evolved into an inter-denominational phenomenon. Streamed live on platforms like Instagram and YouTube, it unites Christians across continents in hour-long sessions of vibrant worship, heartfelt declarations, and powerful prayers. What started with tens of thousands of nightly viewers has grown to impact millions, with countless testimonies of healings, breakthroughs, restored relationships, financial miracles, and profound divine encounters. The program’s accessibility and spirit-led format have made it a beacon of hope, fostering unity and faith renewal in challenging times.
The new Hallelujah Challenge Center serves as the permanent hub for this global movement, ushering in a “new level of glory” as proclaimed by Bassey. Located in Lagos, Nigeria, the state-of-the-art facility includes a global broadcast studio for seamless live streaming of praise sessions to audiences around the world, an office complex to support ministry operations, and a dedicated prayer tower for intercession and intimate worship. This multifaceted space is designed to facilitate not only the nightly Hallelujah Challenge events but also ongoing programs of praise, prayer, and community building. The center represents the fulfillment of a prophetic vision Bassey shared in December 2024, when he declared the site’s purpose amid preparatory work.
“From this place, the sound of HALLELUJAH will rise to the nations of the earth. This is a new level of Glory!” said Nathaniel Bassey in his announcement. He added, “The official launch during this October Hallelujah Challenge is exceedingly glorious, and I invite believers everywhere to join us on this journey of faith and worship.”
The October 2025 edition, running for 25 days starting October 7, has already garnered over 600,000 viewers on its opening night, trending on social media with hashtags like #HallelujahChallenge. Participants have shared clips of worship moments, further amplifying the center’s debut. The launch symbolizes a shift from virtual gatherings to a hybrid model, blending online accessibility with a physical space for deeper communal experiences.
