Grammy-winning gospel singer-songwriter Jonathan McReynolds has officially released his first-ever Christmas EP, Red & Green, today through Life Room Label/Capitol Christian Music Group/Motown Gospel. This highly anticipated project features an eclectic blend of original songs that promise to become the soundtrack for festive celebrations and cozy nights by the fire.
With Red & Green, McReynolds brings his signature voice and heartfelt lyrics to the holiday music scene, offering a unique take on Christmas that is entirely his own. The EP consists of six original tracks, showcasing his ability to infuse profound spiritual truths into accessible and beautifully arranged music. “Christmas comes at the end of the year. And sometimes that year took a lot out of us,” McReynolds reflects. “I wanted to make some original music to reflect that spirit and remind ourselves of God’s greatest gift”.
To celebrate the release, McReynolds has also unveiled the lead single and title track, “Red & Green,” which is now available on all major streaming platforms. This song encapsulates the joy and reflection characteristic of the Christmas season, making it a must-listen for fans and newcomers alike.
In conjunction with the EP launch, McReynolds is set to embark on the Red & Green Tour, a six-city concert series kicking off on December 1 in Chicago and concluding on December 21 in Atlanta.
