Winnette, a gospel singer from the UK, made a comeback with her most recent song, “Hallelujah.”
This Afro-praise and soulful gospel fusion, which was created during the COVID-19 lockdown, has exciting sounds and inspiring lyrics that serve as a dynamic song of hope and praise.
Winnette experienced personal sorrow but found comfort in meditation and prayer, which encouraged her to spark faith to spread healing and drew people to God via her music. As a kid, Winnette developed a love for gospel music while performing with the St. Luce Sisters.
Together, they created their own unique music and performed it live for a variety of audiences in the UK and the Caribbean. Winnette still uses her positive lyrics as a solo performer to share the gospel’s message of love and hope.
Winnette said about the song, “Hallelujah means victory to me,” when asked what “Hallelujah” meant to her. It serves as a daily reminder to honor and adore Jehovah through life’s highs and lows. Hallelujah is a verb that expresses delight, contentment, appreciation, thanksgiving, and the unwillingness to move backward. It is also a prophetic pronouncement. The word “hallelujah” uplifts our spirits”
