GMA Covenant nominee Morrissa Nicole is a vibrant Christian singer-songwriter with a soulful tone, truthful lyrics and a passionate heart to match. Often compared to artists like Kierra Sheard, Tasha Cobbs, with a hint of Ledisi, Morrissa is filled with the desire to write and sing lyrics that reflect her heart for God and people using catchy melodies, expressive harmonies and honest lyrics to do it. She is incredibly excited to release her very first Christmas EP Album “Christmas With You”.
This joy-filled album has been described as warm hearted, delightfully creative, expressive, and “repeat button” worthy by industry professionals. Listening to this album makes it impossible not to get into the Christmas mood not to mention the brilliance of bringing some good island vibes to listeners.
Selective career highlights include sharing the stage with Karen Clark Sheard, J.J. Hairston & Youthful Praise, Fred Hammond, and Crystal Aiken to name a few as well performing at the Montreal Gospel Music Festival. She received a GMA covenant nomination for her single “Take My Hand” coupled with a music video. As well as receiving a Glass Award nomination for her music video “What If’ based out of Nashville, TN.
More recently, Morrissa just completed the National tour of We Will Rock The Musical travelling throughout the U.S.A. and Canada for 2019-2020. She has been featured on top Canadian radio stations like JOY1250, G98.7, with several television interviews on GRACE TV.
When she is not engulfed in music Morrissa Nicole is a film/television actress that can be seen across Canadian television and on streaming platforms like Netflix.
