The 40th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, a milestone event in gospel music history, unfolded at the iconic Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. The ceremony, themed “The Greatest Night in Gospel Music,” honored outstanding gospel artists, songwriters, and industry professionals with compelling performances and heartfelt tributes. History was really made at The Stellar Gospel Music Awards.
Pastor Mike Jr. emerged as the evening’s dominant artist, making history by sweeping all nine categories in which he was nominated — including Artist of the Year, Male Artist, Contemporary Male Artist, Album of the Year (I Got Away EP), Song of the Year (“Amen”), Producer of the Year, Urban Inspirational Single, Music Video of the Year, and Rap/Hip Hop Song of the Year. His unprecedented clean sweep marks a new record at the Stellar Awards.
CeCe Winans also shone brightly, securing three prestigious awards: Albertina Walker Female Artist of the Year, Contemporary Female Artist of the Year, and Praise & Worship Album of the Year for More Than This.
