Iryne Rock, a Christian singer from Maryland, has released her long-awaited track “What Love Is.” This comes just a few months after her worship EP, Grateful, was released.

“What Love Is,” which was inspired by 1 John 4, combines Iryne’s passionate and strong vocals with powerfully driven instrumentations for a sound that is nearly as captivating as the grace that inspires it.

“These passages describe God’s love with a command that we love one another as well,” Rock explains.

“I want listeners to feel joyous, refreshed, and most of all loved by God because he represents the concept of love, and that is “What Love Is,” whether they are hearing the song for the first or hundredth time.

The song was recorded and produced in Nashville, TN by Billy Smiley, and is accompanied by a music video shot on location in California by Smash Cut Films.
